Spring Chez Ami 2009

Can't wait to order this cute outfit for RJ this spring/summer! I think he will look oh so cute in this... Chez Ami parties are booked this week! Head over to Chez Ami website to check out the adorable spring styles. (The outfit choices for Payton are too numerous... I'm still working on narrowing that list down! :)

Cards- I actually made some!

Valentine Card... trying to use up some ribbon scraps laying all over my scrapping table!
Idea came from here... Jennifer McGuire usually always has some great ideas for card making. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thank You card idea came straight from Becky Higgins in the February Creating Keepsakes issue.

Party Time!

Payton's first Birthday party was a blast!
She loved all the gifts and the cupcakes!
Here are a few more pictures from the big day
with family and friends!

There's always one picture like this! She did not like the hat!

Ready for warmer weather...

I've been trying to get a shot of her with the light coming in
for a couple of weeks now... it's far from perfect but I played
with the colors and lighting a bit to make it appear kind
of vintage. It's okay, but I'm still learning. I kind of like
the effect the picture has now.

Playtime

Payton loved the tea set Daddy got her!
Thinking about what kind of tea to make?
The tea party is over! Finally, RJ is out of the room so I can have a turn
at my big brother's toy!

Happy Birthday Payton!

Happy Birthday Payton! I'm having a very hard time believing my little girl is 1! She had fun playing with the cake - she just kept dunking the candle in and out of the cake! We are having her birthday party on Sunday for the family to celebrate with her. She is having quite the time already!

Cupcake tree

Found inspiration for this while thumbing through the February issue of Creating Keepsakes. RJ and I went in the backyard exploring for a tree limb, he also helped me spray paint it white. He thought that was "really cool!" Then I added the cupcakes and hearts from patterns I had and using my trusty cricut. Covered a bucket I already had to fit our theme. It turned out cute and will hopefully be a good decoration to add to the little cupcake's first birthday party!!
