Amazed.

I am amazed. I am so blessed to have two beautiful, healthy children. I often wonder how this all comes together so perfectly. He is so different, a little more tempermental and oh so, tender-hearted. She is easy going, sweet, and very curious. They are also both very loved and our entire world. One of her favorite things to do is look out her window. Her window faces the front of the house. She has learned through hearing us and also watching her big brother that our dog will come to the window if she taps on it. The best thing is seeing her eyes light up. He loves the feeling of accomplishment when he helps her do something. Even if it is just giving her a passy... it is a wonderful, amazing thing to watch. I wouldn't miss it for the world.

New Class... Photo Editing

I'm taking a new photoshop class with Jessica Sprague. (simply the best online classes I have found...) She's awesome. She is great at teaching photoshop tricks and has the best tutorials I've seen. I'm currently taking Photo Editing. This is my original straight out of the camera. Here is the picture now converted to black and white. I also added a subtle sepia color tint to make it a little old fashioned. I love the sweet expression RJ has when looking at Payton.
He is a great big brother!
What do you think?

JUMP!

We have definitely been putting the jumping miles on our trampoline lately. With the warm weather also comes more time for us to play outside. Both RJ and Payton would rather be outside than inside any day. We are loving the wonderful Spring-like weather and hope it continues. Just about every night after dinner, we are heading outside to play and usually end up on the trampoline!
Love the HAIR!!!
They really look like they are having a deep conversation! So sweet!!

Go-Karts, Cars, All boys....

Nothing like a ride in a go-kart... there was a point just a few years ago that RJ wouldn't even step foot close to a go-kart. Now he loves them... along with any kind of car/truck/train he can find. After his daycare program at church on Sunday we had a nice lunch and a fun ride in the go-kart, the one with red and white stars, please!

FUN!

Used Crystal Wilkerson's templates for some 365 projects... I really think this digital scrapping phenomenon is going to make my life so much easier. I can sit at a computer and make a scrapbook page without ever getting out any paper or scissors or adhesive. So fast and so easy. Plus, if you don't like something you can just push the magic "undo" button! So Great!!
I ♥ it!

Family trip to Birmingham Zoo

It was such a pretty day on Saturday we decided to get outside and enjoy it. We headed to the Birmingham Zoo. It was a fun day for all of us! RJ and I even got to experience a camel ride! RJ's favorite parts of the trip... merry-go-round and the train!

Sneaking out of bed

RJ will often sneak out of his bed and wait on us to find him laying in the playroom. If we don't see him he will often cough or make some other noise to let us know he is in there. Last night he was already to the point of exhaustion, but had gotten out of bed several times earlier. First he watched a movie on my phone for a few minutes, then we read a book - Julie's Jungle, then daddy told him a story. It was just one of those nights. So this is how we found him. I love the way his hands are folded together while he sleeps. A sweet, sweet moment...

We had SNOW!!!

After all the forecasts, after hearing "a chance of snow" all winter... we finally got it! RJ loved playing in the snow! He has played in it one other time, but I'm not sure if he remembers. His favorite part was throwing snowballs at Mommy, Daddy and the window Payton was watching him through. He also loved seeing his footprints in the snow. Too bad it all melted by mid-afternoon. He was very disappointed when he woke up from his nap and it was all gone! He kept saying he wanted the snow to come back.

RJ eating the snow!

Backyard... trampoline covered. RJ later made a snow angel on it.

Running up the hill in front of the house.

The view from our back porch... I loved watching the snow coming down. Still quite a thrill for a native Florida girl!
