All Stars

The summer baseball season known as All Stars is now underway. I must admit going into this whole baseball thing I was rather naive. I didn't realize how much time, organization and commitment would also come along with it.  I should have known since my husband is coaching a team, but I really thought it isn't that big a deal... it's just t-ball, right?  Wrong... we are now beginning our third day of 4 nights of games in a row. All leading up to a week long tournament next week with 12 teams. 

But, on the other hand, it is fun. It is fun to see the kids improve, play, practice, make new friends and learn about the game of baseball.  Leaving for the beach in a couple of weeks will be pretty fun also! ;)

Time is flying by...

I can't believe that three weeks of summer vacation has already flown by! We have just returned from a short visit to Florida to visit family and also to see good ole' Mickey Mouse.

The crew after the fish fry courtesy of Richie. RJ and Payton are lucky enough to have two sets of great-grandparents. The kids think it was pretty cool they have 3 Papa's in the house... Papa, Papa Winker, and Papa Blue.
