Field trip to the Zoo

Still playing catch up! We enjoyed a fun-filled field trip on Monday to the Zoo! The 5 yr old class had a great time together outside the classroom. It was fun to watch the kids... most of them were barely able to control their excitement. I had a good time watching how the kids interact with each other. It was a wonderful day!

Spring Break!

We enjoyed a relaxing week at the beach during Spring Break this year! Soooo nice to get away for a little while and just hang out at the beach everyday!

Play day at park!

It has been beautiful weather this week! No better way to spend the afternoon than playing at the park... (they are singing wheels on the bus in this picture)

I'm definitely rubbing off on my kids... Payton even asked me to take a picture of her on the slide!

Easter Weekend

We had a great weekend... we definitely couldn't ask for better weather. Spring has bloomed around our neck of the woods and everyone is loving it! Easter morning the kids woke up to their baskets. Payton slipped and fell at some point. Couple of things to notice... the extreme bed head hair that Payton wakes up with daily and RJ checking out her knee asking her where it hurts. Such a sweetheart!

RJ found some carrot crumbs the Easter Bunny must have left on his way out...

Do you notice the death grip on those shoes? She picked those two things out from her basket and kept a tight grip on those shoes the rest of the morning.

He's actually posing for me... I just said put your hand on the rock...

Our first bunny cake! RJ decorated the face and bow tie with m&ms.

She was determined not to look at me...

Hunting eggs... she liked it but also stopped after each egg to open it and eat what was inside, needless to say she didn't win any prizes for the most eggs. But she had fun with the treats inside the eggs!

A boys day out...

Crazy things are bound to happen when boys get together. RJ had a dentist appointment this morning at the busiest child dentist in our area... seriously, I was told they had to lock the doors at lunch! You know it's a busy place when you walk in and there are tons of toys to entertain the kids. Video games are always a big hit... supposedly RJ was telling the other boys how to play this racing game.


He survived like a champ. Then on to a quick lunch so he and Dad could make their movie date. They went to see How to Train a Dragon. RJ loved it and didn't move the whole time.



Then I guess they got bored and RJ got to entertain himself... in a trash can?! We had an extra trash can delivered because, well, we have lots of trash. At least it was a kind-of clean trash can... if that's possible. But RJ did enjoy seeing the trash can being delivered!
