My new camera....

This weekend I got to enjoy an afternoon of shopping all by myself. (Thank goodness for an awesome babysitter!!) I've been eyeballing this beauty online for a few weeks. It was meant to be when I spotted it in the last store of the day. I just couldn't resist buying this little cutie! I'm loving it! The pictures come out about credit card size... it is great. Got to brag a little...

Not bragging on me, of course, but my thoughtful and loving husband. This was waiting for me in my car after track practice today. Two meetings for two different sports right after track practice= late night with nothing to eat. A wonderful hubby surprising his wife = AWESOME. Doesn't take much... just a little thought. I'm very lucky. This is my POTD (picture of the day) Love you R.

It's a tech world...

I just get a little kick out of this picture everytime I look at it. The kids engrossed in our iPhones one night while waiting at Red Lobster. Even 2 yr old Payton is loving the phone...

Oh, what a day!

It's not looking like a good day when you think you get to be home early for once and actually get some cleaning around the house done before the kids get home from school just to realize you are less than a mile away from home and look down and realize the gas tank has 3 miles left! (Sorry for the enormous run-on sentence...) AHHH! That is the way yesterday went... craziness at school, guess all that was still on my mind during the drive home. Thank goodness my wonderful husband was in town and able to fill up a spare gas can for me! But on the way to school this morning my car still said 0 miles! Not a relaxing drive to start the day.

But, thank goodness I made it to the gas station this morning on my 5 tanks from the gas can hubby filled up for me! Feeling much better after seeing this...

You never know what you're gonna get...

This is what happens when a 2-yr old dresses herself. Mommy at least got the pj's on her, but the rest is all little Miss Payton. She loves putting on socks, shoes, hats, and especially jackets. I'm surprised she doesn't have a jacket on to complete the outfit! Must have been out of her reach...

Let it Snow!

We enjoyed a couple of days on Friday and Saturday filled with snow and then it quickly melted away on Saturday afternoon. The kids especially loved playing in the good ole' white stuff. Building two snommen, sliding down snow hills on cardboard, having a snowball fight.... great things about winter! Okay, I've had enough though, I'm definitely ready for spring!

Pizza Night!

We created our first pizza last night! Totally family style with the toppings we like! The kids loved adding all the toppings and of course, the kids wanted corn with the pizza. I'm not sure how this duo ever came to be from school lunch menus but as long as I can remember we also had corn and pizza when I was in school. So the kids have already started to think of the two things that go together... pizza and corn!

Just a random picture, but I discovered this gem when looking through some old picture files. To say it melts my heart would be an understatement... I love it!
